HOW DOES
IT WORK?
What E-Volunteering will look like will depend on the stream you are involved in.
As an AVLD e-Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to choose where you make your impact across three streams:

DIALOGUE STREAM
Supporting the development
of the Australia-Vietnam
Leadership Dialogue.
As an AVLD e-Volunteer (Dialogue Development) you will assist the AVLD steering committee to design and establish various aspects of the 2021 dialogue. Key areas of your involvement may include (but are not limited to) bilateral policy and strategy development, event management and operations, content creation, marketing and communications, project support.

RISE STREAM
Driving the development of AVLD’s youth empowerment sub-brand Rise, supporting students aged 24 and below.
As an AVLD e-Volunteer ( Rise Youth) you will drive forward the development and expansion of AVLD’s student sub-brand, Rise. This sub-brand represents an exciting leap for AVLD, offering younger persons the opportunity to engage in the Australia-Vietnam bilateral relationship through a wide range of events and programs which you, as an e-Volunteer in the Rise stream, will drive forward. Key areas of professional development will include marketing and communications, volunteer management, event development and event management.

COMMUNITY STREAM
Providing targeted support to social enterprises across Australia and Vietnam.
As an AVLD e-Volunteer (Community Engagement) you will work directly with our community partners (including social enterprises and youth empowerment organisations), applying your skills, experience and enthusiasm to drive forward meaningful projects within the Australia-Vietnam bilateral relationship. Key areas of professional development will include stakeholder outreach, bilateral policy and strategy development, project development and event management.
