Elsa is a specialist in the links between resource management, climate change and sustainable development. She has experience spanning research, consultancy and development projects within research, non-government and private sectors in Australia and Asia. As a researcher at the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney, she undertakes research to inform policies in the areas of resources, energy and food security. In 2013-14 Elsa lived in Hanoi, Vietnam, working with a regional NGO on climate change and community forestry, in partnership with provincial governments, local NGOs and UN agencies. Prior to this Elsa worked as an analyst in the private sector evaluating the social and environmental impacts of climate change mitigation projects.
