Andrew Trinh

Andrew has been a member of AVLD since 2020. His responsibilities and achievements involve launching the e-volunteering platform, act as the delegate liaison, initiate strategic partnerships, lead the AVLD steering committee and RISE programme as well as support the Australia Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogues.

Most notably, Andrew is AVLD’s Head of RISE Steering Committee, fostering volunteer engagement and partnerships to support Vietnamese high school and university students to learn about the United Nations SDGs.

In 2023, RISE delivered impactful events reaching hundreds of students across the country: RISE Young Leaders Forum, RISE UP SDG Competition, and Australia EduFest 2023.

Andrew’s professional experience started in real estate, moving to now cloud/SaaS technology, government relations, and cross-cultural collaborations. In his role as a Customer Enablement and Partner Operations Specialist at Amazon Web Services, he simplifies cost management issues for customers and partners in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Andrew is a recipient of the prestigious New Colombo Plan Scholarship in 2020 by the Australian Government. In the future, he will seek to make a difference in the technology and healthcare sectors.
