Dominique Wiehahn

Australian

Dominique is a Senior Advisor of Global Impact at RMIT University where she works closely with the Vietnamese government and industry on critical policy issues and social and environmental challenges impacting the region.
In addition to her focus on global impact at RMIT, she is also heavily involved in her local community in Melbourne as the Vice-President of social change not-for-profit Melbourne SOUP. Driven by her desire to connect with communities and maximise impact, Dominique grew the not-for-profit with a team of two from operations and strategy. Her not-for-profit also assisted with raising critical funding for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre during COVID-19. Dominique was also the co-host of the Melbourne SOUP Podcast in its first season, bringing together communities and providing a sense of connection to many communities across Australia and the globe.

Dominique lives by the motto “There’s always a solution, sometimes it just takes a shift of perspective.”
