Jessica Nguyen

Currently based in Brussels, Jessica is a Programme Officer at the International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH), where she conducts policy research to strengthen the rule of law and human rights initiatives across the European Union. Jessica has experience across the fields of migration, child protection, gender equality, human rights and poverty alleviation in Thailand, Switzerland, Moldova, and Belgium. She also volunteers remotely, firstly as Secretary of Board/Research Coordinator for Human and Hope Association Incorporated (HHA Inc.) in rural Cambodia, and secondly, as Program Development Officer for Ghana Health and Education Initiative (GHEI).

Jessica’s Achievements
• Completed a master’s degree in Human Rights Law and Policy at UNSW whilst working full-time, and being one of the first females in the family to attend university
• Continues to actively raise significant awareness for human rights and sustainable development through thoughtfulness, kindness, and courage
