AVYLD is Official Recipient of Australian Government Funding

SYDNEY, Australia – 06 September 2018, Today, the Australia-Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue (AVYLD) is pleased to announce the award grant funding valued at $33,000 by the Australia-ASEAN Council (AAC) under the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The grant will support the implementation of AVYLD 2019 in bringing together twenty emerging leaders from Australia and Vietnam. AVYLD was eligible to receive funding for the positive impact and contribution to the development of the Australia – Vietnam relationship in areas of Economic Diplomacy, Education, Trade and Business.





The Australia-Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue (AVYLD) is gearing up for the next Dialogue to be held in Vietnam for the first time, in May 2019. In June 2018, AVYLD welcomed a new, passionate Steering Committee, enthusiastically working to recruit sponsors, develop the 2019 program, generate content to promote the Australia-Vietnam bilateral relationship and plan the launch events in October for Australia and Vietnam respectively.


On this cheerful occasion, Ms. Thao Nguyen, Co-founder and Board Chair of AVYLD said “We’re grateful to have the continued support from the ACC.
